Who wants carbon fiber map pockets?
The visual Achilles heel of Umlaut's interior is his lack of map pockets (they are both in the trunk, split and beyond repair).
I just had a rather good experience fabricating a carbon fiber containment belly-pan (mandated by AHRMA 750 Sportsman class) for my Norton roadrace motorcycle. It just occurred to me that I could make a mold from the old pieces to make some rather nice repop map pockets. I'll give it a go in the next few weeks and post my results.

Are you talking about the door pockets? If so, I am interested. The ones in my 73 220D are MIA.
