megasquirt update 280se 4.5 - look ma no distributor !
Megasquirt update -
I got my car to idle on mS II + EDIS 8 (no distributor). I'm using the relay board to wire things. Have a wideband o2, but it's not hooked up yet (need to get bung welded to my stainless exhaust). Running Ford 19 lb/hr high impedance injectors. Right now, my only issue is my fuel pump is on all the time. I might have nuked something in the relay board - during setup/testing, I was running on very low voltage and the relays were making this zzzzzzzzzzttttt sound. Tried swapping out other relays, but still stays on. When I hook the ECU to the simulator/tester, the fuel pump light goes on/off, so I'm thinking it's the relay. |

Pics dude and the links! We need the link! I'm in the process of MS'ing my 500SEL using the Ford injectors also. I've got my M110 on hold for the moment but I'm ready to go once I get the M117 done.
What did you use for the TPS? I've been looking at the Ford throttle body for the 4.2L. It looks pretty close. C'mon, c'mon. Give us the scoop! |
