1978 w123 250 hot start problem m123.920 6cyl

Hi guys, tried to search for this as I though it may be a common prob but no luck so here is my prob...

I have a 78 W123, 250 (eng m123.920) carby, she has a hard time starting when hot just wont catch, no probs when cold, tried to hold the accel down as per user guide but no luck ...what/where should I start looking at?

Note carby has been re-built and she idles well, spark plugs are new??? very confused??
