W108 Water Leak
I have a water leak that fills up the passenger side floor board pretty quickly. So i automatically assumed it was the windshield gasket and I installed a new gasket. Replacing the gasket did not stop the water leak. After further inspection i found that the leak is coming from the antenna. I drips onto the A/C fan motor then runs down into the passenger side floor board.
The gasket between the body and the antenna looks ok. Could the water be coming through the antenna shaft? Have any of you all seen this before? Thanks! John |

I have the exact same problem with my w108. If it is wet outside when I drive it my rear mats are soaked when i get home. I have not tried to trace this problem. Keep me posted if you solve your leak.

Windshield and rear window seals are a known issue on these cars as they age. The water finds its way to the floor. Our w111 has a huge hole in the drivers floorboard from this, and my dashtop wood in my 108 has met its fate for the same reason.
Windshield seals can be had for $35-45 each, so there is no reason not to replace them IMHO. thanks, Jester
