Question e420 interior trim

Who can tell me how to remove the A pillar (windshield post) trim? The leather is coming loose at the end by the dash. How is the fabric held on, I don't see any sign that it had adhesive on the back. Can I remove the piece and reset the covering??

The trim simply unclips. There are two (or three, I forgot) metal clips a few inches from the top and bottom of the trim piece. Pull back the sealing strip around the door opening and you can unclip the trim by carefully pulling it towards the center of the car and outward. There's also a metal "tongue" that holds the trim in, at the top.
