w124 sun roof trouble.
I have now read a bunch of threads regarding fixing and lubricating the sliding sun roof with MB gliding paste.
But my problem is not the sliding motion. It's the tilt motion! The sun roof can easily open (tilt up), but it won't come all the way down again. I have had luck closing it by moving it up and down until it occationally closed. But i have no doubt that something will break if i keep doing that. What/where can i lube or adjust something to make the tilt-motion work smooth again? Freestyler

you might need to get it "adjusted" by a mechanic. it probably doenst need anythign more than removal, cleaning and reinstallation.

That would propably help. But the days where mechanics repaired, adjusted and aligned things are more or less over. I'm betting that i would get an estimate for a new sunroof mechanism for a quazillion $$..
All i need to know is where and how to lube the tilt-mechanism. It's impossible to see without taking everything apart. Freestyler

Threr is a small arm that connects the roof to the track, check to see if the attachment point is cracked or broken. PS bring a flash light and if you have a small mirror it will help
