Please, Repair Kit For Air Flow Meter And Fuel Distributor
Please I need to buy the Air Flow Meter internal part N` 3432-
032-033 other adittional number: 16429-3------------- for my 190 E, 2. 6L, 1988. This part has a very small bearing that get stuck sometimes and It couldn't let that the adjustment with the 3mm allen stay for the best 14/1 air gas ratio. I asked to several MB parts store and they told me that is too difficult to get this internal part. Really, I only need the very small bearing but I don't know it's part number. All the others part are OK. Also, I need to service the fuel distributor and I don't know what internal parts to change, for instance O-rings, orfice jet etc. Thanks Mario Farias laprefar@cantv.net

THIS IS THE PICTURE OF PART 3432-032-033
Please, this is the picture of the Internal Part for the Mass Air
Flow Meter, Number Part 3432-032-033, used in the 190E, 2.6L, 1988. The Red arrow indicates the location of the referenced part that has a tiny bearings, and it get stuck sometimes. Really, I only need the tiny bearing, the other parts are OK. But if I have to buy the whole part 3432-032-033 I will do it. Please give me a hint how to get the gas flow distributor replacing kit, for same vehicle. Thanks in advance Mario Farias laprefar@cantv.net

No parts are available in that area of the airflow meter. It should be no problem to find a used one to canabalize. Since that bearing pivot almost never goes bad, get one where ever you can find one (I have replaced gobs of airflow meters, mostly for potentiometers... only one had a irrepairable bearing pivot).
There is no usefull point to disassembling the fuel distributer.

Hi Steve,
I appreciate your many posts with your willingness to help others with your skill and expertise....very admirable to say the least. As you may be aware, I have been having "too much fuel" problems, and performed the leak test on the fuel distributor yesterday, and found it to be leaking, when I depress it with my finger, gas appears. I see the seal, but I have a question about the plunger/seal combination....it just does not fit tight....it has play in it. The stem of the plunger does not fit tight enough (in my opinion)....maybe it's the wrong part? When I removed the fuel dist. I noticed that someone had already dismantled it and had made an adjustment (maybe). My question is this: Is there supposed to be so much loose play in the stem fit to the screw cap fitting? I believe that someone has played with this area before, and may have replaced the stem/screwcap fitting with a different part, maybe from a 4 cylinder? I would certainly appreciate your help, as I know most people would rather go fishing than to discuss a fuel distributor. ![]() part number on my fuel dist. >: 0 438 101 012 also has these numbers: 89572

one ultimate solution could be to try to get to the bearings, they all have on the side the references as: make, ext diam, int diam and thickness. but this is a very complicated solution. |
