This is not a truely technical question but rather one about the car. I own a 1980 450SL that I am trying to restore to original condition. The previous owner had cut a hole in the glove box liner to install a graphic equalizer. I would like to replace the liner but am now being told that the original liner had a hole in the back of it for a flashlight. Is this true? The hole in the back of my liner was obviously cut by hand so I am somewhat disbelieving of the information that I have received. If it is true that there was originally a flashlight does anyone know where I can get one?
Appreciate any help that I can get! ------------------ Jim Loseke 1980 450Sl |

I have the same car and my glovebox does not have a cut out or a flashlight.
