300-E no spark

Helo everyone my1986 300e w/90.000 mils has aproblem starting. runs fine cold or a normal temp never dies . but as soon ishut engine off for 1 hour and trie to start again it won`t start til the engine is cold d`ont matter if it is cold out .rain or warm outside. i replace ignion coil .no luck i get fuel to the engine but no spark any ideas tank you. tony melo

Check the distributor cap and rotor, dude.

check about ignition control unit (module). Since you said- no spark. I don't think that cause by ignition coil, cap, rotor or wire.

Ignition coil, cap, rotor or wire will cause weak spark, but those things still get spark on. If absolutely, no spark----- most comment thing is ignition control unit.

One more thing, does your starter turning???

jeff, starter does turn over.

my 1986 300-E now has spark i replace the EZL sensor coming out of the flywheel next to oil filter tank you for your help tony
