Hi guys..
I had my car for a couple of years now, and I've collected a lot of door dings along the way. Now it's come to a point where it is really annoying to see. I want to get them removed, but I have no idea what price range I should be expecting. Also, does anybody know what the procedure is at the body shop to remove door dings? Chuck |

Try this one in Detailing. I'll bet Lee has a lot of good advice for you.

If you don't have too many and they haven't set too long, you might want to try "paint-less" ding removal. The local dealer has someone on the lot every Saturday morning removing (or rather, coaxing) the dings out of doors and fenders. Last Fall I had one removed from the rear door of my wife's 190E. The ding was then about two weeks old and when the guy was through, you'd never have know the door had been hit or worked on. Made me a believer.
