A/C blower relay ?

Hello,

sometimes my A/C blower does not start when I start the engine.
I have to restart the engine 2 or 3 time to have the A/C blower running.

In fact the blower button is always set on position II.

If I try to switch OFF and back to ON I have no result, I'm constraint to restart the engine.

Is there any relay for this blower which I can check (and where it is located) ?

Thank you for your help.
Regards

NO blower relay, the car has an electronic blower control. Sounds like you have an ignition switch that may not be supplying power to the blower fuse. Next time that happens don't switch the car off BUT wiggle the key a couple of times & see if the blower starts then.

key wiggling

Hello M.B.DOC

I did like you said.
And it seems to have effect.
Means that I have to change my contact lock, or my key is too used?

Regards,

Cool May I jump in?

I see you are talking about blower relays. I have a problem with my 98 SL500. The blower is stuck on. Even with the key off and out of the ignition. I have to pull the fuse just so my battery will not die. Is there a relay that could be the problem? MB dealer said it was my A/C control module was at fault (over $600) to fix. If there could be a relay to check or change I would rather do that than lay out $600 for nothing.

Thanks for lettin me jump in..
