Can you modify the clutch on Porter Cable buffer?
Yes, I realize it is made that way. Some folks don't know what they are doing and need a fail-safe clutch. I don't.
Is anyone aware of a modification on the 7424 that will let me tighten the clutch (or remove it altogether)? The clutch defeats the entire purpose. Thanks.

Well, from the lack of replies -- I guess not.
Ok, my next question: If I want to buy a rotary buffer just for specific trouble spots, what is the desired RPM? I can probably find one second hand.
