My 88 300E rear window is stuck in the up position. I'm trying to remove the regulator to enable testing and repair. The cable that runs to the upper window track is tight and the cable that runs to the lower track is slack. The door switch has 12 volts at the pins. How do I disconnect the regulator from the window track and remove the regulator from the door with the window in the up position? Will the regulator with window attached just manuver out the hole in the door once I remove the attaching bolts?
I just finished repairing my front door regulator based on the information in threads on this website.
Thanks for any help! Dave.
