I have a 300E 1992 and in the morning when the auto- tranmission is cold it doesnt shift up into 2. gear for at least 1/4 mile.

After that everything is perfect till the transmission is cold again!!

I checked oil level and got transmission oilchange and filterchange, I also tried the shift cable cable adjustment but doesnt resolve any of my cold shift problems.

Anybody had a similar problem or knows the solution.......

This is normal operation of the upshift delay . It does this to help speed up the warming up of the catalytic convertor.
