I checked the engine fan clutch and it appears to be operating OK as best I can tell. What I did notice however is that the aux cooling fan was not running. I checked the fuse which was OK. Is there a relay or some other thing to check to determine why the aux cooling fan is not running?
Thanks Marc P |

Depending on the year there are several switches that are responsible for turning on the fan(s). The engine shouldn't overheat if the t/stat, fan clutch & radiator are in good condition.

If you have had the thermostat replaced and it still overheats, you should look toward the radiator for partial clogging.
