M104 Fan Bearing Bracket Availability in 2024
It's 2024, all I see for sale on this part number 104 200 13 28 is an aftermarket made by Uro. Dealer told me this part was NLA (unless more has been made in the last 2 years).
So where are you guys getting your replacement fan bearing brackets? Or are we just buying the Uro brand and replacing it every other year on a schedule? I put a brand new "Febi" unit (online retailer listed it as an INA brand, but I received a Febi box) in my M104 2 years ago and it has now failed, something I was expecting to happen, but I didn't really have a good selection of parts. It seems like this is still the case, or even worse. Edit: I forgot I had beef with Uro brand in the past 14 years ago: Opinion on aftermarket "Uro" brand M103 fan clutch bracket? The M103 version did not line up with my timing cover at all. Last edited by John5788; 09-09-2024 at 04:59 AM. |

Hi John, we've sold (151) of Fan Bearing Bracket 104 200 1328 in the last twelve months, and only one has been returned as "defective" (for unknown reasons). It doesn't have any reviews on the Pelican product page, but has three five-star reviews on Azn, if that helps.

I bought a Uro brand for my m103 in December 2023 about 30k miles ago. Still seems fine. Because I drive a lot I usually calculate based on mileage rather than time. I know that the age can be a factor in certain items like putting 10,000 miles on an item from Jan - Mar of the same year vs putting 10,000 miles on an item over a span of 4 years, where the item has had to endure 4 summers with an average temperature of 115F.
