Looking for Headlight Schematic 1987 300E

Hello

My headlights and tail lights are not working.

My turn signals and high beams work. My high beams only work if I pull in on the lever switch, if I push the lever toward the dash they do not come on.

I haven't driven the vehicle at night for a while so not sure when it failed. This morning I happened to wash the car and was hosing out tree debris from the cowl area and the area where the battery is.

Not sure if this messed anything up.

Does anyone have the schematic of the headlight circuits?

Thanks

thanks for the schematic

I was just troubleshooting when you sent the schematic.

I will go back out and look for voltage at the fuses 13-16, if there is voltage there then that tells me that the combination switch is working...

do you have the schematic for the tail lights? They are also out. So most likely something in common

the turn signals, brake lights and high beams (only when pulling in on the lever) all work

thanks

ok I jsut did some more troubleshooting, no voltage to the headlight fuses, so I started flicking the headlight combination switch back and forth and the headlights came on, then they went out... then if I gently turned to the right they came out

so the combination switch is worn and at best might be intermi
tient,

time to change it

is there a dyi for the headlight combination switch?
