Pitman Arm Bolt Bending

Doing my steering gear refresh and bolting my pitman arm onto my new refreshed box with new hardware. Unfortunately the brand new Mercedes supplied bolt is starting to bend once I start to torque it down. Not getting close to the recommended torque before this happens. Has anyone come across this before?

1) Does "bend" mean stretch lengthwise, or deflect laterally?
2) What is the diameter of the threads?
3) What are the markings on the head of the bolt?
4) What is the recommended torque?

It was overtorqued, I found the right service page for the wrong chassis. Reused the old bolt and its just fine.
