Mercedes Blue vs. Pink Antifreeze Compatibility
Can a 2016 passenger car cooling system (205.048, M274.9) factory equipped with Mercedes' pink antifreeze (BQ 1 03 0005) be safely topped off with Mercedes' blue antifreeze (BQ 1 03 0004)?

no, gotta use the same color as factory. now if you're talking old gold and blue, that's ok. but the new pink is not compatible with anything different.

I would not mix the coolants. If you have, do a flush and put the proper coolant in. For a 2016, it seems you should have the pink coolant. This article might help:

Don't mix them. Most current product is Pink (2014 onward I think)
My dad's 2007 and my brother's 2009 both had blue, but my 2015 and 2017 and bro's 2016 all have Pink. You can get it online or from the Dealer. Zerex G40 is what its called when not labeled as an MB part.
