I changed my oil on my 1988 190E 2.3 and noticed some transmission fluid in the cover pan on the bottom. I checked the lines running in and out of the radiatior and noticed that there was a part of the line that was rubber with a spring type of metal around it. It was wet with trassmission fluid. Is this where the leak is or could it be coming from somewhre else?
Thanks, Chris Prestridge [This message has been edited by chris (edited 05-07-99).] |

Chris, these lines are very common to leak. They are refered to as transmission cooler hoses. Your local dealer will stock them!
