I've heard good stuff regarding Pagid as well but have never tried them. I just removed Textar pads when I did the fronts last weekend and I like them for performance but they seem to be really dusty. And I TRY to keep my cars clean but there are those times that they may be dirtier for a longer period than I want and MAN does the dust build quickly!

I had every intention of replacing brakes on rear at same time but when I started to get into it, heck, the pads were still half - two thirds! These are Akebono's I'm 99% sure. Rotors look great too so I'll postpone that service item for a while longer plus I've already got the parts. I'm just getting older and not fond of crawling on the ground doing under car stuff!

My Dad always told me: "getting older sure beats the alternative".

Hahaha! Yes, I know what you're saying...! But as we all know, we will all come to "the end" and that's when we will rest on our faith :-)

I used Bosch rotors and Akebono pads on my W124. Very pleased with the brake performance and they produce zero brake dust.

I do like the near dustless feature of the Akebono pads. In retrospect, I probably should have shelled out for those on the front this time! It's not that big a deal though to simply swap out pads if I start disliking the 'off brand' ones I put on :-)
