ngk spark plugs??
Yes I know bosch is the recomended spark plug for mercedes but I was curious has anyone tried ngk spark plugs on a mercedes? Theses plugs are found on most asian cars as oem equipement. I know there are good plugs and the most people who modify thier japenese cars use them. They do have a listing for my 124.

NGK plugs cause miss and poor fuel mileage. If you put resistor plugs in you will fry the cap and rotor eventually due to the plug wires are resistorized. It is best to go with what is recommended from factory.

NGK Spark Plugs
I put some NGK Copper Core (non resistor) plugs in my '88 260E and they have been working great. Volvo enthusiast bulletin boards recommend them over the OE Bosch plugs. I have always used NGK's in my Volvo's and don't see why they wouldn't perform as well in a MBZ.

The VW Beetles have NGKs in them. I read somewhere that alot of Porsche owners use them also. Though as mentioned by others, it would be critical to buy the correct type.
