400E front caliper dust boot

Anyone have any tips on how to install the dust boots on a400E front brake caliper? I have the calipers of and on the bench and I can have the caliper pistons either in or out of the caliper. The base of the dust boot has a metal ring in it, but it's hard to get around the caliper.
