Changed Oil on 1994 E-320 64,000 Miles Engine Light went on.
Just had oil changed on my 1994 E320. The car has 64,000. Noticed that the "check engine" was on. Went to a quick oil change place. Any suggestions on what I should do?? Thanks in advance.

suggestions:
1) Check Oil Level via dip stick w/in spec, insure stick is all the way into holding tube 2) Review DTC Codes: have the Diag Trouble Codes translated c/o independent or fact autorized service good luck -fad |

I would suspect they unplugged something , electrical/vac. Look at air crossover pipe and see if the air temp sensor is back in its hole.
You can check codes on that car yourself with the led/sw near the battery . Do a Search on procedure. This will give you the code for the reason of CE light. If you can get that , I can tell you what it means. If you are not mechanical, have someone else check the codes for you. |
