190e 16v help
hi
i need to put a new wiper switch in 86 190 16v do i have to take the wheel off to get at the cover? where is the sterring cover bolts. clips? i also noticed that someone else has tried to take the wheel off and the 10mm bolt in there is looking alittle striped any advice? thanks dave |

also i might add...
i have not driven the 16v in 3 months, today i drove it 100 miles to clean it up ,and at some stop lights when i came to idle the engine was jumping from 500 to 1500 rpm, give it gas it stoped then came back but didnt stall, and at idle for longer then 5 min the o2 light comes on,then goes off when driving???? the car must have not liked this winter thaks again dave |

The steering wheel must come off to replace the switch!
On USA versions of this car only a bad O2 sensor OR intermittant power supply to the CIS computer will cause this light to come on & then back off.
