Have heard some rumors re: the Chrysler version of the M276 having some problems (ticking, etc.) and wondered if there was any corresponding history with the M276 Series motors?
Tried a search with "M276" and got absolutely nothing, nothing for "M276 & problems" either... Thanks!

The MB M276 is definitely noisier than the M272 which it replaced. The reason for the "ticking" is the high pressure direct-injection system. It's not a problem, it's just the nature of the beast. I haven't had any complaints, or heard of any other noise issues with this engine.
