Globe change

Hi everybody just got two small issues to attend to before I take the S500 on a nice holiday cruise.

On the w140 what is the procedure to remove and change the globe on the right hand side lcd tempreture display, what must I remove?

Then the cigar lighter socket in the front ashtray does not have power, what fuse serves the lighter and does it only serve the lighther, other possible causes?

Problem sorted, the globe is located behind the "auto" button. Found another tread on this, this forum sure does help a lot!!

After you carefully pry of the auto button there is a small black cover that you remove then you can see the globe, I removed mine with a pair of surgical tweezers.

Cigar lighter was ablown fuse number 16, replaced it tested the lighter worked and fuses does not melt, I suspect maybe previos owner plugged in a device that have drawn to muct current from the lighter socket, any event sorted!!
