1987 190e W201

hey guys im new here . my wifes 190e has had a rear window prob for some time. i NOT good with elec. so i was in hope for a few good suggestions. this is whats happening and what ive done. the rt rear worked when we got the car, left never has, just bought rt rear motor/regulator changed it still nada! replaced switch at rear door nope not it. so, it must be in the master switches right??? also it pops fuses all the time! any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Very common for the window regulator wires to rub and short out where they pass through the door hinge. Cut the rubber insulation back a bit and inspect wire condition.

i cut back insulation, inspected everything looks good.

Could it be that the master switch is stuck "on"? I had that happen on a car of mine (not M-B), and it would blow the fuse constantly. I had to pull the switch, clean it out and rebuild it. Worked like a champ. Took about 30-45 min.
