Rear seat belts for a w123 coupe...
Hello, everybody. This is my first post asking for tech info. Let me grate you in advance!
I was wondering if the rear seat belts kit (2 3-point-belts+ 1 2-point belt) of a MB W123 sedan will fit a 1979 w123 coupe... Do the coupe have an specific/different rear seat belt kit? Thank you, experts, for your help! |

Welcome to the forum carbayon
I think you'll find that the problem that you have is the year your coupe was made rather than it not being a sedan. I can post pictures of the fixing points for a 1980 W123 sedan if you need them but in the mean time I'd wait for input from a coupe owner...

If that's not your style, the tech help here is usually pretty good. Having owned and sold a coupe, I'd be surprised if the belts from a sedan were a direct match. Some of the hardware like the buckles may work, but I'd be skeptical of a direct bolt-in. Panzzer seems to be a source of coupe parts, so he may have a set of serviceable coupe belts. Look for his thread in the Parts forum. |
