The second switch controls the horn setting sometimes referred to as a "Fanfare" horn, two different tones one for urban settings and the other for suburban/country settings.

Don't know about the third with its logo worn/missing, that it includes an visual indicator should help narrow it down somewhat.

5 is a damping switch. Controls firmness of suspension.

What car is this out of? Next to my defrost is an air-recirculation switch. But mine has a red LED, its not a yellow indicator like is show. But its a possibility, maybe?

And it may be after-market. The radius of the corners seems sharper than the others. Or my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Yes, from a1991 500sl gray market imported from Italy. Not air circulation as that switch is with the climate control.

So you don't understand the climate control system, which has a switch to close the flap that allows outside air into the car. Air recirculates inside which allows more effective cooling and heating.

The indicator light and the recirculation setting stays active for 30 minutes, then shuts off allowing exterior air in.

Read the owner's manual.

Do you know if the OP has the owner’s manual in his possession or otherwise has access to a copy of one?
