60,000 miles in 3 years on my replacement Laso pump in my W124, and at the same time also did the same job on another W124 and W201. No noise,no premature failures on any of them yet. Just have to make sure you don't buy one with plastic impellers.

Lee, why you replace water pump if it not be defective? You maybe putting on inferior pump to what you already have!
