Power Steering leak from '90 w201

I recently pulled my p/s to reseal a leak i have had for about a year. I got the reseal kit in and was able take it apart and reseal the inner gaskets with new ones, but there is a circular piece about 30 mm or the size of a fifty cent piece. it looks like a seal for the bearing part that the pulley rests on. How do i take that part off? I put everything back together and just yesterday I noticed i still have the leak. Red fluid that is leaking on top of my Denso a/c compressor and drips down from there to the drive way. please help
