ok so ive had this problem with my 300E for a while now & its a problem that happens every now & then (only issue I've ever had with this car) I turn on the car and it turns on like nothing but as soon as i put it in drive it starts to shake and eventually will turn off and lose all its power, just like if i had disconnected the battery. the car completely dies and power comes back by itself a couple minutes later.

I just found out that its one of the cables underneath the dash (drivers side) because it happened again today and i just lifted my foot and hit the cables on top and power came back. turned it on, shifted into drive and it turned off again and lost all power... gave it another little kick to the cables and power came back instantly and was able to drive it home, didn't have an issue. when i got home i tried to look for the cable that was causing it but couldn't really find a stripped cable or anything because it was already dark and only had my cellphone as a flash light. anyone know what cable it might be? or what i could do to stop this?
