90-300E clutch fan

clutch fan assembly wabbles. Can be wabbled by hand but also with engine running, making noise by striking other objects. 10mm bolts in pully are tight, clutch fan seems good. Entire assembly wabbles. Need instructions on removing the belt and how to replace clutch fan if that is what is needed. Need help

Your fan clutch bearing is toast. You need to replace it ASAP before the fan clutch comes off while you are driving and takes out your radiator and other components.

Direction here

I have a brand new fan mount bearing I bought for my 300E. I never installed it because I decided to use it as a parts car. $40 including shipping sound all right? Basicly, what you get is a casting that looks like a waterpump, with a fan mount bearing. If you want a picture, PM me your email address.

Here's an image of the fan pulley assembly.
Change it ASAP - before it fails.

The tool illustrated is to assist in removing the fan clutch.

Sounds like you are getting an awesome deal from Woodnek!
Just make sure you don't drive it in the mean time. Unless you are a gambling man...You have $40 : $300-$500 odds
