w209 front suspension play

I raised the car tonight and noted there is some play in each front wheen when rocking the wheel from 12 to 6 (up and down). There seems to be no play from right to left. The play is slight and most noticeable toward the top, but that could be a false impression.

What is the usual suspect for this car? Which part? The swaybar links are new. Could it be the wheel bearings (doubtful since it does not rock from left to right but I suppose the brake calipers could hold the wheel more in place).

Thanks!!

play in the the 3/9 oclock position is usually related to tie-rods and the 6/12 position is wheel bearings and/or ball joints. How many miles are on your car and any modifications

Thanks, the car has no modifications and about 60kmi. I believe it is the wheel bearings, strange that they would both have developed some play.
