If you're looking for the options, you can try running your VIN here: http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng

MBUSA, through the Classic Center in Irvine, can e-mail you the MB Prep Center's data card for your car; just provide them with the VIN; Also, MBUSA will also provide you with a copy of the original dealership "window sticker" that the car had when it left the Prep Center; the original "build order" can be ordered from MB Classic Center in Germany for about 100 Euros and comes with a presentation porfolio.

hron, the Parts Department at your local MB dealer will be able to provide information about the original springs in your 190E, and sell you new ones. How did you determine that the springs need to be replaced? Normally new shocks will improve the ride quality.

hi ferdman, thanks for the heads up. i dont think the springs are shot, just well worn in. lol i know my struts are shot. i've replaced the front end exept for the control arm bushings, struts and springs. control bushings are decent and should last untill this summer, car has 157 thousand miles on her and im making my way to the rear components as well. the rear is really bouncy, but might just be due to bad shocks. but i figured if i can get some at a reasonable price then i might as well replace em also.
batman
