Trunk light bulb fix

Has anyone ever changed the trunk bulb in a W124 (95-E300)? What type bulb does it take and does it require much effort to replace?

Happy Holidays to all!

Phillips Says:

If I recall correctly it's a standard "Festoon" bulb
(glass tube with pointy metal end caps)

It doesn't take much effort. The sides are notched so that you can insert a flathead screwdriver and pry it out. Mine trunk light comes out the easiest with prying on the drivers side. Once you have the light removed it pretty clear how to change the bulb.
