The car in the photo is a '90-'93, it would help to know which one. M-B Tex without headlamp wipers is also unusual, would lead me to a 2.6? Perhaps this is not your car?

wiring diagram
look at the wiring diagram of the start circuit and figure what devices should be getting voltage, what devices are loads. Check circuity, connections, fuses. test indiviudal wires and devices until problem(s) are isolated

the Alarm thing is fixed and has been, thanx author!
Next thing on the list, Here is what the car does Start it up and go to drive you press the pedal down to the floor but it doesnt go anywhere, Motor doesnt rev up the car just doesnt move.... eventually itll finally go, I might have to let up on the pedal a bit or let up let off kinda thing... throttle cable looks in tact, With car off I predd gas pedal and see the cable move like its suppos to! The car idle surges.....
