MB 190E 5speed
Having trouble shifting! already lost 2nd and starting to lose first. Linkage under the car is fine . Need parts for shifter but which ones????

On 190E transmissions the likely culprit is where the linkage rod is bolted to the TRANSMISSION. There is an allen bolt(6mm wrench) that comes loose. On your parts pic the rod number 187 connects to this linkage rod on the trans. try tightening this bolt first!
