87 300D 124 a/c not cooling
We have replaced the expansion valve, drier and thoroughly flushed the system. We also cleaned the condenser fins, checked mono valve , system presures ok. compressor belt is ok not slipping. It takes a long time to begin temp drop on a hot humid day and only will drop to about 70F at highway speed. Any one have any sugestions?

Are you sure that the flaps air such that you are recirculating cabin air? It occurs to me that you could be taking in copeous amounts of outside air.
Has this system been converted to r134a or is it still r12? Good luck, |
