'76 450SL wet left foot!

Almost every time I take a moderately hard right turn, my left foot gets a VERY cold shower! I assume this is condensation from the air conditioner... How do I fix this?

Thanks!!!

In a land far-far away years ago we would ADD a second set of A/C drain tubes to the early SL's. YOU might make sure that rubber drain hoses aren't plugged up with trash.

My daughter has been having the same problem with her 420SEL; we asked the independent to clear out the drains from the A/C but still get the cold drip (colorless, odorless, and thus we think just cold water condensation) on the driver's right foot. Repeat the clean-out, or could there be another place for the leak?

Found it

It comes down on the left side of the transmission tunnel. But, mine looks clear at the bottom and I still have wet feet. There's another thread here about forcing water down the fresh air duct and the other side of the coin which says you shouldn't. Does anyone know the right answer?

*Left* foot?

On the 560SL, at least, the evaporator pan is central, so it's the right foot that gets the overflow (I've got the discolored shoe to prove it). Is it different on the earlier car? Or are you also getting dripping condensation from somewhere else to get your left foot wet?
