Is there any special procedure or technique to changing fuel injectors on this vehicle?

you will want to be mindful of the risk of a fire because you will be working with gasoline, that said, loosen the lines from the fuel distributor at the injector before loosening the 5mm allen screws that secure the injectors to the intake manifold, this makes life so much easier.

The best advise I have and this comes from experience remove the fuel lines from the injectors and the fuel distributor because if they get bent you might have more work than you expected. Next be sure to replace the injector seals as they will be destroyed if you try to remove them and reuse them.
