Noise ????

87 560sel w126
Have front noise, sounds to be bearing so I changed both front bearing/rotors and pads. Bearings were "dark/worn".

No Change!

Still have what sounds like a slight "roaring" bearing noise. Does not change with speed or curves, however does seem louder when braking to a stop.

Any help appreciated!

assume you know to tighten bearings until you cannot turn hub and then back off about a turn.is it possible you left caliper mount bolt loose?have you jacked up car at front and spun wheels to make sure that the tire tread has no bulges in it[square wheels]? have you switched the front tires to the rear to see if noise follows them? all i can think of now.
