1999 C230K, P1235 and P0410 codes
CEL is on and a scan tools shows these codes. 1235 points to the supercharger and 0410 says air injection. Not sure where to start looking on this, has anyone fixed these codes or at least point me in some direction.
Have read that this model does not have an air pump and uses the supercharger instead. Is this true? Thanks. |

Even for a good repair shop those are difficult codes to repair w/o having a dedicated scanner to "activate" that air injection system.
Both codes are related. Possibly the "K40" power supply relay in the computer box isn't powering-up the air diverter flap.

Can't seem to find the K40 relay, any idea of its location?

It's in the electrical center not far from the diagnostic connector. it has a number of fuses on the top.
