S-550 Seat Belt Chime
Does anyone know how to turn off the damn chime on the seatbelts OTHER than putting them on.

Is there ANY reason you would not wear your seat belt?
We're talking the w221 here right? So if the car is empty it probably only chimes for the driver (and if there is a passenger - does it chime until both are buckled?)?

If you want the seat belt warning chime to stop, just keep driving! After a few minute of driving, it will eventually shut off. The thing is, once you stop, and then continue driving, the cycle repeats itself. Your dealer does have the ability to turn off the chime permanently, but there's no way in the world they ever would, due to liability issues.
