Angry Problems Starting a 97 C230

I drove my 1997 C230 to the store yesterday and when I came back fifteen minutes later it would not start. Also the courtesy lights do not turn on and the keyless entry system does not work. The radio and seat adjustment work just perfectly. I have checked all of the fuses and they are all fine. When I try to start the car the engine cranks but does not start but sometimes misfires. I have not checked the spark plugs yet but I doubt that they affect the courtesy lights and the keyless entry system. Something else that might be helpful is that the car has only 53000 miles on it. I have also checked the codes and the scanner says there are none. Do you guys have any idea as to what the problem might be?

Actually the DAS module does have similar power as the inside dome light fuse 23 and 27.

do you get a P1570 drive authorization code?

Overvoltage protection relay (OVP) or the fuse on the relay? My first thought was crank position sensor but those other symptoms shouldn't be cause by the crank position sensor going bad.

That chassis does not use OVP relay.
