Hello,

The back story is long but I was under the hood today and working to remove some extra wiring that had been added for a radio/radar detector.

I came across this wire coming out of the fuse box but not plugged into anything. Can you tell me what this is?

W126 500SEL Euro if that explains anything.

MB used that connector foe MANY applications..almost always there are EXTRA connectors on wiring harnesses so that they will fit cars with various equipment levels. That appears to be one of those extra connectors.
