94 e320 Gas Pedal Micro Switch How to Change?

Inde suggested I instal new switch. I removed the kick panel and can see where it plugs into the harness.

Switch appears to plug into the top of the gas pedal. How do I R&R the switch in the pedal? Please be specific.

Bob

In the event someone else needs the info, here's how I did it.

Micro switch in gas pedal {only used with ASR}

NOTE In the kick panel above the accelerator pedal, there's a oval access panel about 4" by 1-1/2" that you might be able to bring the connector through. And maybe there's a magic torx to access the screws holding the switch into the pedal, Instead, I did the following:

1] Remove kick panel [3 bolts, 1 screw & 1 white press nut {base of steering column}]. Panel difficult to remove from area alongside trans tunnel at top, under knee panel.
2] Remove spring to accelerator pedal
3] A retainer [#59 in parts drawing] about 3" long by 1/2" will come off towards the steering column when you push on the pin. Other end secures pedal to accelerator cable.
4] Pop circle clamp off of pedal pivot bolt. Move pedal towards steering column.
5] Accelerator pedal will pivot forward from its bottom hinge.
6] Use 9 - 8 Torx to remove screws securing sensor [# 28 in drawing]
7] Open clip to harness to remove wire end pins. Thread cable [brown & blue wires] through hole in pedal.
Install is reverse.
