OK so I read the posts about having a remote switch wired in parallel with the trans kickdown foot switch ('81 380 SL, 722.xxx 4 speed auto). Now I've got the bug to try to figure out the best way to do this. Being on the same wavelength as Donald S., (and I hope he is feeling better) this makes sense to me. Many cars with auto transmissions have an option button on the shift console for "power" or "economy". I think all this does is mimic the foot kickdown switch. So why not try to make one for myself? Of course one would not want to use it at freeway speeds but around town it should make things a little more fun. Any expert advice on this matter? -Jim 380
