95 C280 bad vibration about 2500 RPM

It feels like it's in the transmission, but I'm not positive. it's not very noticable at low speeds, but very noticable at highway speeds and extreamly bad with the a/c on.
When I had the trouble codes pulled it showed a miss fire on cylinder #5, after replacing wires and connectors it ended up being a bad coil. There are no trouble codes coming up now off the OBD-2.
The vibration is only under power, if your coasting at highyway speeds there's no vibration.
Any advice on how to fix or even locate problem would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks
Shawn

From your description it would seem to be drivetrain orientated. Am not familiar with the typical problems that occur with your model but would suggest looking at driveshaft flex disks, or maybe a motor or transmission mount.

I believe i am having this same problem. Is yours usually after it rains or becomes moist outside or when ac is on? It usually looses power during exceleration and feels like a really bad miss right? If you find the solution let me know because i have been looking for 3 months.
